WHAT DOES THE COLOUR OF YOUR BASE LAYER SAY ABOUT YOU?

WHAT DOES THE COLOUR OF YOUR BASE LAYER SAY ABOUT YOU?

Does your colour of your base layer explain your nature? Check these psychological insights as to what colours you choose represent in you.

Knowing these traits can help you to understand your strengths, your weaknesses, how you can influence others, and how to improve your personality.

BLUE

Choosing a blue base layer to ride in could prove to be a very wise decision. Blue is considered beneficial to the mind and body. It slows human metabolism and produces a calming effect. Blue is considered a very trusting and confident colour and as we well know when riding these 2 things are very important.

ORANGE

Orange represents enthusiasm, happiness, creativity and success. People who wear orange are said to be assertive and determined with their goals and have a positive attitude towards achieving dreams.

PINK

Pink represents femininity, love and understanding - most people that choose this colour are 'girly girls' or said to be soft and kind in character. Pink also has a calming effect and lets others perceive you as kind and open.

TEAL

The colour teal is often associated with good luck and represented with the hues of nature - making it a serene and calming colour - it shows a flexibility in personality as it is a colour that can be worn with both war and cold colours.

WHITE

White - an inherently positive colour, is associated with purity, light and goodness. It makes a statement about cleanliness and brightness  which is often how one is perceived in white - it is also commonly associated with high standards.

NAVY

Although still a share of blue, the darker side of the colour is said to represent and convey something completely different to its lighter sister shade. Navy is said to convert importance, confidence, power and authority, as well as intelligence, stability, unity and conservatism. It's sense of power and authority probably comes from it's association with the police and military and as expected from a rich colour it's said to carry a sense of elegance and sophistication.

BLACK

Black is associated with power, fear, mystery, strength and authority as well as elegance, formality and sophistication. It is a colour closely matched with seriousness and the most effective colour for making other colours stand out - therefore makes the perfect colour to match with brighter coloured breeches or leggings.

KHAKI

Khaki is said to represent quiet confidence. It represents a friendly and approachable personality and a genuine and sincere person. A sensual, warm and supportive colour means you take tasks and training very serious.
